It feels good to be home! For those of you who don't know, I went back to Washington to surprise my boyfriend for Christmas. Though I didn't get to see all the people o wanted to, or spend as much time with those whom I did, I'm very grateful to have had that little vacation. Now I feel recharged and ready to giver all this semester. This semester I am living in a new house. It is in the same housing area but now I live on the 2nd floor and with a great bunch of Norwegian students whom I enjoy very much! I also LOVE the view from/location of my room. Our house is the 1st one so I have no housing blocking my view of the Bø landscape. Now I also have sunlight in my room and feel much freer to leaving my curtains open. So with a new house comes a new address! I always love receiving mail (its is only 3 forever stamps to send a letter to Norway).
My new address is:
Elgfaret 33, H203
3801 Bø i Telemark
Norway
Coming up the 1st week of February is a student week at the school, full of concerts and events. During this week there will be an international day. Each country will have a table that they can decorate and serve foods from their country. The foods are supposed to be finger foods (so not like soups and spaghetti type stuff). ANY SUGGESTIONS?!?!
Also, next wednesday I am going to the Bø church to sit in on a rehearsal and see about joining the choir. I am excited about the possibility of getting to be active in church stuff again and meeting more people.
Otherwise there is not much more to update on. I'm enjoying all of my classes this semester and am feeling much more at home than I did the last. I'll try to be better about updating my blog, which means some days you may just get pictures. Hope that is OK!
